Give Local, Live United – United Way

Ending November 22

Have you thought about donating to United Way but didn’t think your small contribution would make a difference in the big picture?

United Way of the Greater Dayton Area created a graphic (attached) to show how a seemingly small donation will help impact the lives of those in need. When we all work together and give united, our donation can make a world of difference to someone.

Here are a few examples:

  • For the cost of a latte, someone without health insurance that is experiencing a medical emergency will receive a lifesaving prescription.
  • For the cost of a lottery ticket, 10 hungry children will receive a backpack filled with food to feed them over the weekend.
  • For the cost of a movie ticket and popcorn, eight children challenged by disabilities will each receive one week of day care and therapy.

No matter what amount you can give, we encourage you to donate during this year’s annual fundraising campaign. As we enter week three of our campaign, we have successfully raised over $200,000. Help us reach $300,000 and empower United Way of the Greater Dayton Area and Butler County to make our communities better.

Donate here.

Your contribution makes a difference.
