Grandview Comprehensive Breast Care Fundraising
Grandview Foundation kicked off a campaign earlier this year to raise funds for new mammography equipment at Grandview. The fundraising goal is $275,000.
This project benefits patients with early screening, educational materials, and a digital mammography machine that is best for the early detection of breast cancer. Grandview general surgery residents will learn to perform ultrasound guided biopsies with new curriculum, and will participate in a series of cancer conferences.
Many events have taken place with the largest fundraiser coming in August. The 26th Annual Eagle Seekers Golf Outing will take place at the Dayton Country Club on August 18.
Patrons can purchase a ribbon to display with their name for $1 in Southview and Grandview cafeterias. Proceeds from the July 10 Gar-ART sale also benefited the foundation.
Grandview Foundation’s mission is to support graduate medical education and residency training programs which improve the health of the underserved.
