Winter Weather Advisory

Read Time: 1 min

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for much of our region, as weather forecasts predict a mix of sleet and snow beginning this afternoon and continuing through Friday morning.

Our care teams and patients’ safety remains our top priority. The winter weather may lead to extended transport times, so please move anticipated discharges up as early as possible so we can safely move patients before the weather begins.

The anticipated weather may result in a Code Gray at many of our facilities. Please refer to the Kettering Health Emergency Operations policy linked here for guidance on attendance expectations. If you have questions or concerns about how the policy relates to your area, please contact your leader.

Campus administration teams will provide specific details about how the weather may impact their facility. For the latest weather information, you can click here to visit the National Weather Service website. Thank you for being so committed to each other and our communities.
