Congratulations to Brian Hernandez, who was named ASB’s August Employee of the Month! Brian works in IS Data Architecture.
The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Brian was nominated by a fellow employee, and you can read the nomination story below:
“Senior database administrator Brian Hernandez is phenomenal. He works tirelessly to assist in getting servers set up, tuned, and upgraded, even servers that are not under his ownership or responsibility. Brian lives in Columbus but travels to the ASB every Tuesday to work in the office, and he works harder than anybody I know. Every single day, Brian does his utmost to improve our processes and to keep things running smoothly; he does outstanding work. He knows no time limits and often works well into the evening as his work often has to be done after hours. He is so dedicated and driven to do things well and help other people, including mentoring people on the Analytics and other technical teams that he works with. He works at an amazing pace because if you ask him to do something, he will do it. Even if he’s busy with something else, he will take the time to get it done. Brian helped a lot with the Wanna Cry ransomware crisis. We would not have a functioning Analytics infrastructure without Brian Hernandez. I know I would not sleep well at night without him looking out for us. Brian is so worthy of this honor.”
