COVID-19 Vaccine – Employee Update

Ohioans 16 and older are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Understanding the reach of the COVID-19 vaccine within our own employee population is an important measure of safety as we consider plans to resume more normal operations over the coming weeks and months.  

If you haven’t already received the vaccine, we want to encourage you to get it. Beginning March 29, all employees who receive the COVID-19 vaccine and submit documentation through Employee Health will be entered in weekly Kroger gift card drawings. In addition, any employee who has received the COVID-19 vaccine outside of the network vaccine clinics and has not yet submitted documentation to Employee Health may submit documentation to be entered in these weekly drawings. Once entered, employees will be included in all weekly drawings.  

We also want to thank members of our team who have already participated in this important safety effort.  All employees who received vaccines through Kettering Health Network vaccine clinics or who have already submitted documentation of vaccine administration will be entered in a separate weekly drawing for Kroger gift cards.  

Employees are eligible to win one gift card throughout the duration of this program. 

Employees can schedule a vaccine appointment through the Kettering Health Network website. More information about the COVID-19 vaccine is available in the Frequently Asked Questions section of the k-news COVID-19 page. Employees may also contact their local Employee Health office with questions or to submit documentation of vaccination administered outside of KHN vaccine clinics.
