How Employee Feedback Fuels Action: Network Level

Feedback shared through the employee engagement survey provides insight into areas of strength and helps us take action to drive meaningful improvement that strengthens workplace culture. Employees shared that we have strong recognition, and we want to continue to invest in that. You also shared that we made great progress in communication, benefits, and employee support. We are going to continue focusing on benefits and employee support.

Here’s how your feedback is fuleing action on a network level:


We are launching a new open enrollment system designed to make it easier for you to use and access benefit information. The online benefits center provides a place where you can enroll, help select the best benefits for you, and see your benefits.


A new Network Stars nomination site and reward store launched August 1, making it easier for employees to recognize each other and earn meaningful rewards. We also added a new award, called a shooting star, based on employee feedback.

A new admin recognition store was also recently launched for leaders, where they can access resources to show appreciation for their employees.

Employee support

On September 1, the IMPACT Solutions employee assistance program benefit increased for all employees. Employees and covered family members now receive five complimentary face-to-face counseling sessions per person, per occurrence–an increase from the previous offering of three sessions. We also added services for volunteers and student life assistance for Kettering College students.

In October, the network will launch the Back-up Care Benefit, which will help provided back-up child and elder care to employees when previous plans fall through. Watch for more detailed information coming later this month.

Following the employee engagement survey, leaders and employees across the network create department action plans based on employee feedback. In October, we will dig deeper into action plans and see where teams are focusing their efforts across the network.
