Jeremy was nominated by his supervisor, and you can read the nomination story below:
“Jeremy is an exceptional employee, always willing to come in when we need him and never calls off. The following area few examples of why he should be a Network Star. A few weeks ago on night shift, Jeremy was up drawing a patient in a room on Tele. The patient asked for some pillows so Jeremy was on his way to get those when a woman in a room down the hall cried out that her mom was choking. Jeremy rushed into the room. The daughter was trying to give the Heimlich maneuver to her mom, who was sitting in a chair. Jeremy called for a nurse tech who was next door. When she came into the room, Jeremy had got behind the woman and picked her up to stand her up straight. When he did this, the food that was stuck in her throat was dislodged. The daughter was so appreciative of what Jeremy did. On another night, the husband of one of our employees was admitted to the ICU. While here, her phone died and she needed to call some other people in her family to let them know. She called to lab to see if we had a spare phone, but we did not. Jeremy immediately went out into the hospital and asked for one of the phones that nurses have for families and got it to her. She was so happy that he had taken the time to do that. These are just two examples of the employee that Jeremy is. He definitely exemplifies a Network Star.”
