On Thursday, September 27 the Gem City Market held a Community Block Party to celebrate our wonderful Dayton community! The event featured free music, food, mobile health screenings, mobile food pantry, kids activities, and much more. Courtney Clayton and Marla Adams from our Kettering Physician Network Women’s Health team, joined by team members from the Grandview Foundation and community outreach, represented our network, interacting with community members and handing out reusable shopping bags. The event was a great success, with many community members stopping by. Big thanks to Courtney and Marla for proudly representing Kettering Physician Network.
Our network continues to sponsor a membership drive and matching program for Gem City Market, a Dayton-based movement with the goal of opening a full-service grocery store to address hunger in the community. Join the movement for change and help us reach our goal of 1,000 Kettering Health Network employees becoming members of the co-op. To buy a share and become a member, employees may click here.
