Congratulations to Susan Dabe, who was named Greene Memorial Hospital’s May Employee of the Month! Susan works in Nutrition Services at the hospital.
The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Susan was nominated by a fellow employee, and you can read the nomination story below:
“I am an employee at Greene Memorial Hospital in the Nutrition Services Department. Susan Dabe is one of my supervisors. In late October 2017, after one of my shifts at work was over, I had a health-related incident at work. I was found by Susan. She helped me to the ER and notified my family. She stayed with me and my family late that night and would come in to visit me before her shift and sit with me after her shift was over for the three days I was at Greene Memorial Hospital. Susan took a terrible situation that she could’ve left for somebody else to deal with and took it upon herself to do EVERYTHING she possible could for me and my family. She went above and beyond the call of just being a supervisor, and she is a wonderful friend and exemplifies everything that Kettering Health Network is known for–CARE.”
