Vaccine Requirement Reminder

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services are preparing to issue new COVID-19 vaccine requirements that will impact employers like Kettering Health. We anticipate that these agencies will issue these requirements and provide more details (e.g. timing, testing for unvaccinated employees, etc.) in the next few weeks. We will continue to monitor these developments and when we have additional information about how these requirements might affect our current policy related to the COVID-19 vaccine we will share that information with you.   

In the meantime, we wanted to remind you that the deadline to submit an exemption request for the COVID-19 vaccine is October 15.   

Finally, if you submitted an exemption request and it’s been more than a week and you have not received any follow up from Employee Health, please send a follow-up email to EHPrograms@ketteringhealth.org to ensure we have received the information needed to review your request and provide you with a response.
