Congratulations to Holly Acord, who was named Soin’s December Employee of the Month. Holly works in Post Anesthesia Care Unit.
The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. Holly was nominated by a co-worker, and you can read the nomination story below:
“Holly is an incredibly kind and caring nurse who has embraced her calling and works every day to make a difference. She is not afraid to speak up on behalf of patients or staff. Although she is a resource RN, she is much more than that to her peers. She does whatever she possibly can, supporting staff by working for them to attend events with their family and to lend a helping hand during an extremely busy day. She reaches out to those when they are struggling and offers any help she can provide. As her manager, I am consistently given positive feedback about Holly as a team player and a role model for others. During patient rounding, Holly is mentioned by nearly every patient under her care for her calm, warming demeanor.
To sum up Holly, I would say she makes wonderful personal connections with both her coworkers and her patients. We are blessed to have her working with us!”
